My first attempt at taking both kids to the JCPennies portrait studio to use our coupons. It was as big of a three-ring-circus as I was expecting: trying to change their outfits, jumping around to get them to smile, keeping Jackson out of trouble during Cosette's pictures, having the double BOB in way too small of a space and blocking everyone from moving around. In the end I'm happy to have a few shot of both of them smiling and I somehow only paid $9.99!

He is Risen Indeed!
Jack and I dyed eggs during a rainy day. As messy and could be and he wanted to drink each color of "juice," break the eggs open with his thumbs, and drip on the floor as much as possible.
On the way to church Easter morning. Jack needed a little reassurance and hand-holding from Grandma. Doing high-five and knuckles with Uncle Dubb.
Easter baskets for everyone and Auntie NayNay with Cosy
New book with googly eye balls on it! It's a new fav and he runs around yelling "eyeballs"
Jack's basket and family pics in the yard.
So sweet. Egg hunting with Papa and filling his butterfly net with treasures.
Also loved the foam football. He whips it around the house now.
Egg hunt #3 for the day with cousin Evan.
Hey, there's stuff in these things! He didn't care for the chocolate, but dug the jelly beans.
3 Month Girl
My Little Lady is 3 months. Here are some beauty shots of her experimenting with the bumbo.
She's also just started wanting to hold rattles and chew on things. I caught her chewing on Jack's koosh ball which didn't seem very safe, so she tried out a lion rattle and Sophie. She's also getting on her side and seems close to rolling over!
And here is a super sweet video of Jackson playing with Cosette and "sharing" his stuff with her. It's so amazing to watch them starting to interact. I can tell that she already adores him and that he finds her exciting and interesting, at least for now. Sorry the video is kind of long.

Monterey Day Trip
We took advantage of the markets being closed for Good Friday and headed to Monterey for the day. These things are always more complicated and exhausting than they first appear. Jackson's been pretty fussy and whiny in the car, so it wasn't the quietest ride but we got there eventually. Then the idea of picking up lunch is so much more difficult with the kids. I learned how much easier it is to bring a brown bag lunch than popping into a deli...Anyway, we did have fun on a windy, sun soaked day at the ocean.
At "Dennis the Menace" park. As usual, watching other kids for a long time before he'll give the roller slide a try. Also telling Dan not to assist him.
At the ocean. He hates the wind in his face, but overcame that annoyance by throwing sand and getting soaked, which wasn't planned.
Getting cleaned up.
Little modeling shot. This was before Dan also got soaked chasing Jackson into the ocean.
Then we thought it would be fun to walk on Fisherman's Wharf and get clam chowder and fudge. I was surprised that Jack tried the chowder and tolerated it since he's so picking, but not surprised that he was more miserable trying to share the fudge then if he had never seen it to begin with.
