Shorts in the Rain

During the first big rain of the season the kids acted like they'd never seen water falling from the sky before. Maybe it rained so rarely last year that they don't remember it. They were full of questions about when it would stop and the detailed functioning of the windshield wipers. We picked the first rainy day to get a flat tire at the Oakland Airport while picking up a friend. Thank goodness for AAA. None of us got out of the car and we were back on the road in about a half an hour. When we got home Cosette had to go outside. Jackson would not go out, but coached her from the door about when to run etc.

Out she goes, clearly dressed for the occasion.

Jack commanded her to march, and so she did. Her butterfly boots are too small, so she inherited Jackson's Trexs.

Fall Photo Session - Part 2 Family

Day 2 of the adventure. Kids were bummed to have to get back into the same outfits for another trip to a park that didn't offer slides and swings. We needed a few maple leaf cookies to get us into the right frame of mind.
