Pool Day!

 Daily shooting had me taking my DSLR along to the pool today, which I normally would never have bothered with. Glad I did!

7th Birthday with Pinkeye at the Zoo

Played hookie from school due to a bit of pinkeye and had a great afternoon at the zoo. Felt like old times when we used to go midweek for no reason other than to take up the day until Daddy gets home. Hope you like snakes!

 

 

Composition Class

I'm taking a composition class that's really fun. It's challenging to shoot for composition and not just for cute expressions on the kiddos' faces! This week, Rule of Thirds. So basic, but totally challenging too!

Before and After: Love both of these, but the second has stronger composition with the whole headboard included and Graham positioned to the right. I think both capture his personality and favorite things (Johnny and sunglasses)!

Mighty Birthday 2 Year Old

Yankees v Cards

 Only Jackson's second game of the season with so many rainouts. I think the black and white is beautiful for telling this story. They were so nice in color too, hard to chose. Fun getting into a little sports photography now. Baseball is perfect for photographing: lot of iconic gear, slower moving, can focus in on my little guy very easily. A lot of fun.
