Tidy and Not

I have very different children. Jackson sets his place perfectly. Everything is neat and tidy. Notice that the waffle has been pushed to one side of the plate to make room for syrup (no mixing allowed!). He decided that extra napkins are needed under his place to prevent syrup spills. 

However when things get out of hand and the syrup drips, this is the instant panic-rage reaction

He has a lot of difficult moments because he so desperately want everything to be just right. He has even started saying "It has to be perfect" which I did not teach him. When things say under his control he is very calm, but takes 20-30 to eat a half a bagel! It's hard to find that kind if time in the morning!

And this is my little girl whose only mantra is "I do it. I DO IT, ok?" She does it her way, the crazy messy way. She is the reason I spend half of my day sweeping the floors. 

Eating only cream cheese. 

Malfunctions

I have been so overwhelmed in the computer department lately that blog posting has been pretty unrealistic. My laptop that was just over a year old was having a lot of major problems and I was in a quandary for a few weeks about what to do about it. Now I have a new laptop and it is so different that it is tricky to figure it out. At least I can post these videos of Jack's guitar (or bu-tar as he calls it) performances. So full of soul. I hope to keep more up to date in the new year :)

Group counting is so fun, but not always accurate. How many "pin-chan-zees" are in this picture? The answer is probably 5.
