We took Jack to his first Giant's game last night and had great seats from Dan's co-worker. We were actually a little worried about being in foul-ball territory and we bothered to make up a little plan if a ball came our way so that me and the baby wouldn't get hit. Needless to say we didn't need the plan afterall, which involved Dan diving for a ball that wasn't near us or blocking it with his chest if it came too close (not sure why he wanted to do a chest-block instead of try to catch it, but I digress...). The game was fun with Lincecum pitching and the Giants winning 2-0 and Jackson did really great and enjoyed a bottle and a long nap. It was actually one of the most peaceful evenings we've had with him in about a month. Maybe he was too distracted by the sights and sounds of the heckler behind us and forgot to do his nightly-freakout routine. Here are the pics.
Not too excited about getting dressed for the game.
The outfit was a bit too big, so he couldn't wear the shorts because they were totally falling off.
Still not convinced.
Lovin' the sling.
Family shot taken by strangers.
He was content in there until he got hungry.
Lincecum!
Sleepin'
They gave Jackson a certificate with his name for his first game. Very cute.
Ready to go home
