The Family in Philly

Dan and I spent our 3 year anniversary taking the red eye to Philly with Jackson along for the ride.  Miraculously the baby did really well and slept through most of the trip.  We were nervous that he would be screaming and waking everyone up, but he was so well behaved in the airport and on the plane.  Yah Jackson!  He even decided to start sleeping for 6-7 hour stretches at night on our trip.  Amazing.  Now that we're home he's back to his old 3-4 hour stretches, but it was nice for a few days at least.

Our trip was for Dan's college buddy Chip's wedding, which was beautiful.
Dan and Chip with Jackson in front of an "authentic Amish farm."  It turned out that we hung out in Amish country for most of the trip.
Horse and buggy set ups were all over the place, even on the main roads blocking traffic.
The groom trying to keep Jack happy as we get the tour of the area.

Watching just-born baby goats.  Actually a pretty graphic scene, but Dan couldn't seem to look away.
A huge pig.
Playing on farm equipment.

A failed experiment.  He did not appreciate being the subject of this photograph.
A droopy-eyed baby at the rehearsal.
Family shot.
Very handsome on the wedding day.
We got to visit Philly for a few hours before flying out on July 4th.  With the Liberty Bell here and also a Wheaton friend Lando.
Independence Hall.  Awesome to see it on the 4th.
